William Lee Snawder, age 74 of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 11 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. William was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 8, 1948, a son of the late Fielden, and Maudie (Price) Snawder. He was a farmer and had attended New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in the past.
He is survived by his children, Fielden “Tooter” Snawder Jr. and Gail of Cave City, Tina Overfelt and Jeff of Larue County, a foster daughter, Kathy Skaggs of Cave City, one brother, Ronnie James Snawder of Merry Oaks. Five grandchildren; Madison and Gracie Snawder, Amber, Angel, and Chris Overfelt, and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Patsy Sturgeon, and one son, Christopher Snawder.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel in Cave City, with burial to follow in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday until time for services.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the William Snawder Expense Fund and can be made at the Funeral Home.
