Mark Douglas Jackson

Mark Douglas Jackson, age 53, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 16,

2022, at TJ Samson Community Hospital.  Mark was born on September 16, 1969, a son of

the late James Edward Jackson and Wilma Lee Thompson Cotton. 

He is survived by his mother Wilma Lee (Thompson) Cotton, and her husband David of Cave

City, four children: Josh Melton of Indianapolis, Indiana, Matthew Palmore and wife Amanda

of Nashville, Tennessee, Rhonda Stevenson and husband Michael, and Kellie Alexander all of

Glasgow.  Two brothers; Michael Jackson, James Derek Jackson, one sister; Rebecca McGrew,

all of Cave City, five grandsons; Landon, Drew, Silas, Nolan, Maddux, and one granddaughter;

Laina Jean also survive.

In addition to his father James Edward Jackson, he was preceded in death by a son,

Christopher Walden.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at

Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with interment to follow.
