Mark Blankenship

Mr. Mark Blankenship, age 53, of Park City, Kentucky passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Mark was born in Freeburn, Kentucky on March 4, 1969, a son of the late Archie and Fayetta (Fields) Blankenship.

Mark is survived by his wife, Danielle (Justice) Blankenship, and two children: Addison Monroe and Brayden Ray, all of Park City, Kentucky.  Two sisters; Judy Blankenship, and Wanda Wolford and her husband Larry, one brother-in-law, Tommy Blankenship, all of Freeburn, Kentucky, a special brother: Chris Gamble and his wife Marcia of Allen City, Kentucky, three nephews and two nieces also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Carol Blankenship, Vanessa Blankenship, one brother; Ernie Clell Blankenship, and one nephew D.J. Meeks, Jr.

As per his wishes, the family has chosen cremation and Mark’s remains will travel back Home to Eastern Kentucky to be at rest with his parents. No services are scheduled at this time.
