Gloria Martin

Gloria Madeline Martin, age 96, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home with her family on February 7, 2022. She was born on February 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Clinton and Alice (Gillenwater) Jackson. In 1949 she married Drew J. Martin, who preceded her in death. Gloria loved cooking and quilting and was of the Christian faith.

 

She is survived by two sons, James Dewey Martin and Richard Martin both of Gallatin, Tennessee; two grandsons, Drew Leland Phelps of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Wade Fitzpatrick Martin of California; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers, and sisters.

 

There will be no visitation or funeral services conducted as cremation was chosen with cremains to be buried in the Cave City Cemetery.
