Eva Geraldene Roller

Mrs. Eva Geraldene (Poynter) Roller, age 79, formerly of Cave City, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Glenview Health & Rehab of Glasgow, Kentucky. Eva was born in Cave City on August 28, 1944, to the late Chester Paul and Lillie Mae (Doyle) Poynter. She was of the Baptist faith. 

She is survived by her son, Jeff Cole and wife Cindy of Indianapolis, Indiana, two daughters: Teresa Balestreri and husband Tom of O’Fallon, Missouri, Karen Boston and husband Roger of Hardyville, Kentucky. One brother, James Poynter and wife Adell of Horse Cave, grandchildren; Erika Charles and husband Brandon, Amanda Gordin and husband Matt, Jessie Boston, and Andrew Boston. Six great-grandchildren, two stepchildren: Bill Roller of Smyrna, Tennessee, and Debbie Shouse of Owensboro, Kentucky, a nephew, J. D. Poynter and wife Jackie of Park City and Joy Curtis and husband Derek of Bowling Green, Kentucky. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Roller Jr., son, Tony Ray Cole, granddaughter, Brittany Nichole Grosch, and two brothers: Russell Poynter and Leroy Poynter.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in the Cave City Cemetery. Pastor Phillip Trent, of the Immanuel Ministry Church, will officiate the service. 

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel.
