Carroll Pedigo Minor, age 88 of Cave City, left this earth on Monday, April 4, 2022, at his daughter’s home. He was born in Cave City on May 17, 1933, a son of the late Granville, and Lillie Mae (Middeton) Minor. Carroll started his farming career at a young age and acquired several acres of land where he milked for several years. After retiring from milking, he started raising Angus cattle, which brought him much enjoyment through his later years in life. Carroll married Christine Stephens in December of 1962. Christine preceded him in death in 2015. He was a devout member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Carroll is survived by one daughter, Sheila Minor of Cave City, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Stephens Minor, a daughter, Sonya Minor, two brothers, two sisters and a special friend: Grace Morgan.
Funeral Services for Carroll will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022, from New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, with interment to follow in New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Trevor Thomas will officiate the service.
The family will receive visitors at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will be after 10:00 on Friday Morning, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
